Computer won't turn on at ALL.

I bought a new case and a new cpu fan for my pc and i took everything from my vaio and stuck it in the new case, but when i plug in the psu and hit the power switch nothing happens..

What should I do?

Also, I plug in the "power sw", "reset sw", "power led", etc. into the ports that i circled in red, right?

Also, I kinda forced the motherboard into place cause it won't line up properly. Could I have damaged something?

You may have shorted teh motherboard to case in a place where it shouldn't be touching.

A switch is a switch... they usually don't have a polarity.

Here's the pdf for your motherboard. The blue header is for your USB, the other handles your power switch. Read page 18-- the two pins in the middle (third from left, viewing from the posted pic). Reset is right next to that-- fourth set from the left.

Not familiar with the board but some of the boards I have come accross dont work when the connections are wrong. Thought it more likely a connection wasnt right.

Just thought I'd mention it.

Wow, I finally figured it out. I plugged the "power sw" into the wrong pins. I thought they were all the same when apparently they aren't.

@Dngrsone: Thanks for the pdf, but thats not my motherboard. Its just a picture to show where I plugged in the "power sw".

This is my motherboard in my old case

For future reference, illmatic, if you are posting a picture of something other than your equipment, you might want to mention that little fact-- I could have steered you into a big, dangerous mess there.
