* UPDATED - March 4
Okay, my Maxtop is out and my Dragon is in. Still a long way to go with this rig but here she is with the first few mods: window with 92mm blowhole and a 120mm clowhole on top. Right now it's running two 92mm Tornado's, one 80mm Smart Fan II, one 120mm Y.S. Tech 131CFM, two generic white LED fans, and the PSU fans. All in all it's about as loud as a harrier when I crank it up. More pics and current worklog available right here! ![]() ![]() |

Hey. Just got a new digital camera. Unfortunately, doesnt show the UV well at all. In real life, it is much brighter and nice, but whatever. I know you can't see much but I will wait until tomorrow to get a day picture.
Specs: P4 2.53 GHz 533 36°/41° @ 3.05 GHz 642 42°/52° ABIT IS7 AGP 8x DDR400 2x 256 DDR400 Dual Channel Corsair XMS (333) @402 (2-3-2-5) ATi Radeon 9600XT 128DDR 499/594 @ 621/693 30°/34° All air cooled. 37,147 AquaMark3 4,680 3DMark03 15,293 3DMark01 "Oh another premod." NO. -Cut all fan grills out. -Did alot of work to hide wires (looks crowded in the pic, thats the angle, and you can't really see much). -Going to etch soon. -Made very own Ramsinks from old pentium 2 CPU cooler What do you think? Opinions and suggestions are welcome. ![]() ![]() And the UV-less pic (loooks MUCH better in real life..) ![]() |

The mods I need
1. VDIMM mod - increase voltage to RAM - Done 2. Droop mod - Stabilize Vcore on my P4p800 - In progress 3. Memory VoltMod for Video Card - same as #1 for Memory on the Video card - Need Help with 4. GPU VoltMod for Video Card - Increase Core Voltage to the GPU - Need Help with All these things require wiring and pretty good job in hiding the wires afterwards, not to mention that I can barely stick my hand inside the case because of all the Fans + crap I have in there now ( should have bought a full-ATX) But as soon as all done, It'll be nice I hope. By the way if anyone knows a lot about Voltmodding the Ti4200 - look up my post on Nvidia thread I will appreciate all the input there... Ti4200 VoltMod...

I'm using a somewhat similar case model from Raidmax as 1Headshot...(I think...)
I just built my rig a couple months ago so I haven't done much 4 mods/dress up. These pics are taken right after completion. Case Front Case Inside *The grafix card in the pic was a temp while I was waiting for my 9600XT. And the 'Dual Bios' decal my friend slapped on is long gone...nice feature, ugly decal! I've got the following ready to install sometime this week: Vantec Nexus fan cont. Blk face w/ blue dials Sunbeam Dual 12in. CCFL Kit The ugly ass orange TT Smart Fan is getting replaced by the same model with blue leds and a chrome grill from SVC. 2 80mm Panaflow ultra quiet front intake fans. LiteOn DVD combo drive CompuNurse dual probe temp monitor...haven't decided the best way to mount the little display tho...suggestions??? Already replaced the POS psu with an Antec TrueBlue (has blue leds) Will post some 'after' pics when I get done... ![]()

I haven't done crap with my system yet, but I just wanted to post a pick of it anyways. Heh, I had to put my math book under the LCD because its shorter than my CRT. Thats one good use for textbooks anyways. I put the sdie panel back on and you can see that I haven't painted it yet. Still have to go to home depot and get some plexiglass for the front panel. I haven't put the door on because I wanted to finish the mods first. Im still too busy being lazy after m first real vacation in like 5 years. No work and no school can make you pretty lazy. I still have to turn in my confirmation papers for UW and my financial aid forms. I should have time to work on the front panel next week. since I want to be lazy for a little while longer. ![]() |
