yea I found it quite funny because I thought he meant all the stuff on your desk...yours is very clean...while mine is covered with dr pepper bottles, hardware, and various snacks I munch on while writing my reviews Though I'm not done yet, I can't help but show off the latest case I got my hands on, the Silverstone TJ08: I have a new favorite matx case ![]()

I didn't mean offense to anyone. :\ I just think IT's funny how a lot of the smart minded programmers and pc builders have such messy workstations, but then I again there's so much management you can do with all that stuff. I mean I see a lot of these desktops in Vista and it bugs me. It's so full! >.<

Otherwise there is the Antec Sonata (currently housing the wifes E2140 on P965-DS3 system) ![]() Then the old Antec SOHO1030 case housing my Athlon XP3000+ system for the past 6 years (I have cleaned up the wires since) ![]() and the Thermaltake Mozart TX that is currently up for sale next to the 2 previously mentioned cases: ![]()

I think its just considered a full tower.
It's tall, a bit wider, but quite a bit shallower than a standard full tower case. If you want to see another huge case, check out the Lian Li x2000. That thing is massive ![]()

Built another server for a local company, this one is just a small data backup server that also manages their quickbooks database. Not my best wiring job but it'll do...I hate how the audio cable goes across there, but they insisted it be hooked up in case they need it, and who am I to disagree? The P180 certainly needs a longer audio cable though, its just too short to do any sort of management. Box uses a gigabyte 740G mobo, Athlon X2 5200, 2gb ddr2 800, antec 550w psu, 2x 160gb SATA (raid 1, OS/applications) and 2x 750gb SATA (raid 1, database/backups). Up top is an IDE DVD burner for hard copy back ups. SATA would look nicer for cables, but since I need the additional 2 ports for possible hard drive expansion, it was just easier to use an IDE. obviously cables dont matter that much, as they will never be seen again, but its my name on the box so it may as well be good ![]() |
