Hello all, well it's time for me to share what I've been doing for the past couple of weeks. Here's my new case almost done. All I got left is the plasma window, but here it goes.....go gentle..

Well I finally added the LEDs to the case here it is.
Camera obviously doesn't show the real Glow color, but you get an idea.

I have a white High intensity(10000mcd) LED pointing to the Kingston CL2 RAM
and a Red LED one pointing between Audigy2 and Video.

This pic shows the nice night glow.

this one is the full view

And this is a daytime shot (well it's actually a flash shot, but that's what it looks like during the day.

Thanks Roundel! The airflow is pretty sweet... Those tornados keep a serious positive pressure in the case. I have the two tornados running tandem on one channel on the fan controller and the two exhaust running tandem on another channel... I did a lot of soldering and splicing on this build. Everything is shrinktubed and then jacketed (as much as possible). I spliced into all the LEDs on the fans so they could be switched via the switch on the front panel along with the feet and the front panel leds. I just added the pic of the switch, I forgot to do that earlier. Now, after I get all the software and drivers installed and updated (this weekend?) it's on to raising the fsb! Cheers all.

Finally done with my first round of mods/dressup. Posted back on pg.6 after my initial build.

Before:

Case Front

Case Inside

After: (and of course I didn't buy enough loom...)

Inside

Window

Front

Lights

Already thinking about what I want to do next...besides more wire loom. I'm upgrading to a Gigabyte 1100 (875P, sata raid0) soon anyway so, I've got a while to decide what to change/add. Will for sure be replacing my cd burner with a dvd burner and adding a 7 in 1 card reader in the second 3.5" bay (for my digicam). Clk below my sig for a full rundown...ignore the math blunder, was little too stoned when I wrote that .
This is my first build...so I'm still a rookie.

Ok...hats off to Photobucket.com...dead easy free image hosting!
Let's try this again...

Before:

Case Front

Case Inside

After:

Front

Inside

Overall

Front Lights

Overall Lights

Like I said, this is my first build and I started with a POS $50 case w/o a blowhole. (80mm hole saws RULE!) Already ordered more wire loom...

What should I do with my sata cable (soon 2 be 2 cables)...it's only like 3 inches from my drive to the mobo connector. I just 'spiraled' it for lack of a better idea...don't think they make 4" sata cables....do they?

Case is an Chenming Aluminum Blue 601. The power supply is an Enermax 430 Watt Dual Fan. The case has 5 case fans. 2 Zalman ZM-F1's for intake in silent mode (2100 RPM) , 2 cheapo case fans that came with the case for exhaust (2300RPM) and an Artic Cooling Pro 2L fan in the window in medium mode. (2000RPM) All intake fans have fan filters on them to try to keep the inside clean. Wadda ya think?
