Ok i am planning on designing my own case in SolidWorks but i dont know when to place case fans or what kind also i need some ideas on what kind of material to make it out of does anybody have any ideas for me once i get the final design done i will post it here thanks

you'd want 1 or 2 intakes on the front preferably 120mm one on the side as an intake, 2 up top and one in the back.
material you can use is Steel if you wanna go cheaper and aluminum if you want a nicer finish and reduce the weigt of the case

stainless steel would make a nice effect once you polish it up. It'd be a heavy bitch but it'd dampen the noise of the fans

i was thinking more along the lines of clear, i like a loud computer it sort of shows off my power imo
