xp 3000+ 9600xt = 3503 3dMarks?

3503 3dMarks with 3dmark03. i have a saphire 9600 xt. athlon xp 3000+, chaintech 7njl6, 512mb ram. wtf. why is my score so eeking low? the "Smart"Gart crap keeps telling me that i can't even turn AGP on. and i can't turn fastwrite on. what is up with that? i have tried both the drivers that came with the card and the catalyst 4.12 drivers. both times it didn't work. what is up with this?

Those scores seem out right, with my 2500 @ 3400+ and my FX5700le overclocked i get about 3400.
