heh i got 128mb of ram on it and mine is running xp!!! geez with ati drivers it takes like 120mb of ram idleing lol.i would prolly get a better score with 98 but i dont have it :/

RIGHT, i finally managed to bench after may problems with my gf2 it finally went rear up and i can no longer do 3dmark tests so i have done PCmark02 and superpi

32MB DDR cards had to be allowed because not many people own pure SDRAM cards anymore :/

Anyway, I thought "Lets seriously harm my machine". So I upped voltage from 1.55v to 1.7v and put the FSB up to 133MHz and, well, 1728MHz appeared on the screen. Weeeeeeeeeee....


I just had to beat 'sane....


More clocks than bob, more memory bandwidth than bob, and I just can't touch that time... bah!

EDIT: Oh yeah, these were done on only 256MB of RAM cos that's as much as the board appears to be capable of recognising at 133MHz FSB. Weird, eh? Put any more in there and it just ignores it...

And pyro, I am using an 80 pin cable in Hoglet without problems... dunno what I'm doing different to you, but I'm using one all the same.

i want to get soo much from this PC but MY HARD DRIVE driving me up the wall, all i have is stupid fujitsu crap.

when im done, im putting a spike through it.

anyway i got some more cpu marks so that should push me a few points above snod, not to worry though, at least you have a 3dmark01 score, i cant even do that

Hoglet will be back on the PCMark runs, she just needs some MOSFET heatsinks (I can't believe I'm doing this again).

Most of these scores are just a little high for true old school. Hell Snod in one of your links to 3d2001se it shows you running a 1600mhz cpu and a 6600 256 meg vid card.
you want to get old skool then there should be nothing faster than say 300mhz less would be even better. In this competition it should be the lowest score that wins. As that would tend to indicate the oldest equipment. I am going to try to install and ethernet card in my old skool and show you the real meaniong of slowwwwwww!!!

IMO the idea of it was to take the oldest thing you could get your hands on and push it as far as you can, that would be the real winner, i kind of cheated for using an athy which lets face it isnt that old, its the fact i used sdram instead of DDR that hindered most of the time, whatever your take on it, its all good fun, now i get to sit back and watch snod slog the guts out of hoglet.

lowest score is when one canot run a benchmark due to oldness of hardware....

heck, i tried runing benches and it ended up software emulation because the card had no dx acceleration...
