I agree with Anubis. In your case, I think Windows should manage your virtual memory settings just fine.

I don't think the virtual memory is your problem at all.

I believe increasing your memory (as you've done) and disabling uneeded services will make enough improvements.

Here's something for you; why do you care? Just turn it on, walk away and come back in two-three minutes and you're ready to go!

I'm sure you can do something in two-three minutes? Besides, your boot-up times aren't even what i'd call bad.

i have tweaked it to boot up in 1 min 40secs.

not bad

im happy.
