Is this a good score or how could i do better
heres my system. dfi ultra 400 al(nf2), ati 9800 pro, 1 gig ocz in dual channel, maxtor 120 gig hdd with 8mb buffer, audigy sound card(soft modded to an audigy 2) athlonxp 2600 with a barton core running at 2.3 gigs. plus a few other gadgets.
my 3dmark score is 6125. nothing is turned up but the fsb. i have the agp clock set at 67 mhz. the fsb is at 200mhz. can i do better with this system and what would you recommend.

Don't know about gaining 1k points, but only really do that if you've got an R360 core. R350 will artifact if you do that and you'll just have to flash it back... I got stuck with an R350

mine has the r350 core also
i checked it out. it has the r350 core and samsung ram. plus i'm waiting on my artic silver 5 to come in for it. i only have the fsb turned up right now. still gotta play with the ram. see if i can't push it closer to 7k. i priced out the athlon xp 3200 for it and it would be cheaper to get a new mobo and 64 bit sempron chip. so i guess i will push it as far as i can.

do u mean with ati tool
do u mean turn up the gpu and ram on the card with ati tool or can i turn up the agp bus freg in bios. i have that set to 67 right now. wish i could turn up this dial up modem. i will be happy the end of the week when the dsl gets turned on.

nono, I meant the core/mem clocks
the AGP freq NEEDS to be at ~66. and you have at 67, so that's good, don't push that. You can fry w/ that your card, and it doesn't NOT improves performance.
Only the mem & core clocks, with atitool, and benchmark a lot to see if those settings are stable...

i assume you have a similar setup as me or are very familiar with it. im me ....msn....adambrewer4@yahoo.com or yahoo....brewer_59@yahoo.com. i would like to compare some ati tool settings and a few bios settings.
