Yeah, my ballistix lasted about a week until I started noticing errors, but I blamed the cpu cuz it was the only new thing in the system (until I ran memtest at least). Now I can't break 12m 30sec with my budget gskill pc6400 ram. Got some ocz reapers on order, should be in soon. Ill post asap.

The last screenie was done on a Zalman 9700. The one before was done on LN2.
degradation....(Can't reach 700MHz anymore)... dont make me sick. So you used and wasted LN2 just to bench for fun for a score that doesnt count? especially that i said no extreme cooling permitted?. I tought you were using phasecooling?

i knew it was you're memory, and thats why i posted my experience with them. Very rare will the cpu do that unless you pump the hell of alot of volts into it. but i didnt argue as it can still be possible. my memory was doing getting my head, was hours of memtest stable and the next day it was doing reboot on loop and not memtest stable anymore

I never waste LN2.
But I do bench b/c it is fun and every time you do it it lern a little more about it.
If I get a sick score in the process, then good. If not I still learned a little more than I knew before about the behavior of hardware under sub zero.

yeah the first one was extreme cooling but the second screen shot was done on air.
I do also use phase cooling but that is more for when I get a new board and an testing timings/dividers. It helps keep the CPU rock solid during testing.

maybe some day you will learn my humor. my humor is so serious that even ppl that know me wonders if i am joking or if i am serious. i know you didnt waste ln2 otherwise you wouldn't of used it. the real reason was to SHOW OFF. what is you're overclock on phase compared to LN2? and why are you not using phase 24/7?

nice score dude
on my side i have found out that my motherboard doesnt realy like to be oced especially with my new memory. i have a hard time to make it run at stock settings. on my old motherboard i have no problems. so i may swap back with my old one again. and try with that.
