Well I got a score of 1801 when I ran 3dmark03 with the ati catalyst drivers v4.7. But thats probaly becuase of my video card. Does having a gig of ram and enabling dual channel ram effect the 3dmark03 scores?

are you using coolbits? To oc your card. did you go to the quality and performance tab? and set it to performance. Strange how our cards would react so differently to those drivers. So put those back on. how long have you had the card and what did it cost? I must tell you the more I see the more I think the card is a dog no matter what you do with it. If I'm wrong show me. the highest score I saw for it on 3D mark was
2567.

No its not overclocked.
Its only a sucky ati 9600se it only costed 70 bucks. I only had the card for 5months.

Ill be upgrading my video card in like 8 or 9 days from now so that score will change dramaticly.

I already have my chipset driver installed, and everything is functioning correctly, and always has been. And don't you think re-installing windows is going a little to far right now?

And yes, I am using coolbits to oc, and all my settings in quality and performance are on max, except for vertical sync, which is appliacation controlled. And I have had my card for 8 days and I bought it at the disc shop for $224 AUD (Currently $159.734 USD). And maybe it is the card who knows, maybe the LE stands for low edition. :P

Ok, I'm not sure if this helps, but I just switched my video card from my FX 5700LE to my old GeForce 4 TI 4200 128Mb, and got a score of 351. I know it shouldn't be that low, so I think it might be something else on my PC that is causing this.

I use coolbits, and I noticed it said that, but I think 3dmark uses some sort of forumla, because at the time I tested that, more core was at 450mhz, so, 5x50 or something like that, just like how some apps measure the FSB at 4x200, etc.

Yep, a P4 2.6ghz w/ HT. My BIOS should be right, MPS revision to 1.4, AGP aperature to 256MB. I also decided to change my video card settings, and make AA and AF to app controlled, and turned off all the fancy stuff, (force mipmaps, textur eoptimization, etc) and ran 3dmark03, and got a better score of 3337, which is a huge improvement, but still very below the average of 6000-6500, (I believe it is).

Try uninstalling ur video card drivers and running a nVidia cleaner that will remove all of the nVidia registry/dll files from your computer, then do a fresh install of the drivers. See if that will help u any. u can find the cleaners at www.guru3d.com one is called detdestroyer I believe.

Yeah, I've tried that before, no change.

Hmmm....I am starting to wonder about how it says my GFX card speed is 50/122 in my results, strange. Anyway, I did the tests again with AA and AF on app control and the rest off, and got 3370, take a look.

Yey, I got 3416, (though that's still very low) by setting AA and AF to app controled, but still had force mipmaps and stuff on. This score is an improvement, but I still need to figure out where my other 3000+ points are going.
