X800Xt performance question

Dear Guys

So far i didnt found the right answer on the internet. I have ATI x800xt in my laptop ( 2ghz Centrino, 1GB DDR2 (soon 2GB) ) and with the new Catalyst i can manage to get 5,6K points in trial version of 3d mark 2005 ( with standard core and memory setting) I have found an impressive score 6,3K on the same card and I really dont know how its possible. Would it be possible to recomend me some other drivers to bit the score???

Which Catalyst drivers are you using? Have you tried benchmarking your system and overclocking your video card?

Really the only way you're going to achieve a higher score in 3DMark05 is with finding the fastest drivers for your card and overclocking it. Your system seems to score just as it should so everything is performing correctly.

Hi! Thanks for your answer. I have already tried with new catalys drivers 8 (5,6-5,7k) and with some Omega drivers as well ( tragedy 3,9K) so fat I just can't bid the score from Notebookcheck 6,300 ( 1,73 centrino, 1gb DD2)

Well a faster CPU would help the score a little. Also, you need to push your core and memory speed on your X800XT as far as it will achieve stable to produce your best benchmark possible.

Also, if you haven't already try using RivaTuner to adjust your image quality settings and insure you aren't running vsync or any AF or AA.
