X1900 XTX crashes/glitches

I have been having some problems lately with games crashing my whole system and I have to reboot, sometimes it will just crash to the desktop but not very often, I will also get random glitches in games where textures go on forever, If you have any answers please respond
Specs are:
Intel Core 2 duo E6600 @ 2.4 GHz
ATI Radeon X1900 XTX
4 gb OCZ ram
Gigabyte GA-945P-S3 mobo
OCZ gameXStream 600W psu

Tearing is not good but can sometimes be fixed

You can :

Try Differant Drivers...or reinstalling your old Drivers.

Try re-seatting your Video Card.

You can take off the Videocard heatsink and re-apply some Arctic Siver 5

Is Vertical Sync Enabled ???

When is the last time you cleaned your comp of dust ???

I bought the card in November of 2006 i think or sometime around there. I have tried many different drivers and the same thing happens. I cleaned my comp of dust about every 2 weeks, and it runs cooler but I still get crashes and random texture lines. I have read about this arctic silver 5, the only reason I haven't tried using it is because I don't want to screw up and kill my card completely. thx for the reply
