I really like this one, mainly because it's gotten so many great reviews from people. Everybody has bashed OCZ's rebate service saying that it's terrible and even if you do it correctly the odds are about 50/50 that you'll get the rebate. The only things about this Corsair that bothers me is that it supposedly has a lot of long, stiff cables. I just want to be sure I can find somewhere to hide the ones I don't need without them getting in the way and causing heat problems. I have a NexGen case. I guess it's a mid-size tower.

it is a veru good psu. i am using the 540w version and you wont be disapointed very solid and stable. about the wires, they are modular, so dont plug the wires you dont need and the ones you use just tie wrap them to make it all tidy. |

OCZ's rebates arent that bad. l've mailed in for a few of them on ram, psu's (for other people) and lve got them. Just make sure you follow the instructions on the rebate form

Yeah, I think I'm gonna go with the OCZ. It's more reasonable for me since I don't plan on running a crossfire setup or anything like that.

Well it's official. I've finally purchased my PSU.
After hours of deliberating, I finally went with the OCZ500SXS. Thanks a lot for everyone's help on the matter. I definitely couldn't have made a decision this soon without everyone's input. I'll just be glad when I've got this thing up and running. |
