Oh the last question I have
I dont have floppy driver but there is software I can make flash bios with a burner and bot it for a disc?

read around page 3 or 4 someone asked that

i readed that but I dont know how to use this free dos
I booted it and then what?
it got a lot of options :/
bot with xms and cd rom and a lot of other junk I dont understand
and if I bot I only have 1 driver letter and it's "X:" the cd driver

I understand why it's not working cuze my harddisk is sata
so bos doesnt reconize it
any solutions to this problem?

hmm all i can say is get a floppy drive for $5

I have never overclocked or done anything like this before

I have saved the original.bin file no problem but when I try to flash with the new bios
I get an error press 1 to continue.

My card is a Tyan Tachyon Radeon G9600PRO 8xAGP 128MB DDR and the bin file I have tried to use is Tyan.R9600PRO.128MB.Unknown.Rev.01.rom

Can you tell me were I am going wrong or what else I need to do. (Once flashed how do I over clock?)

no your using a bios with different ram. use your memory type

Ok so with my msi radeon 9800 pro I am able to flash it as long as I get the same kind of memory? Msi doesn't make xt's. and I'm guessing if I want to be 100% accurate I have to pull off my heatsink to look at the ram? if I do screw this up and I wanna flash back to my old bios will I still be able to see anything? i wouldn't think the card would work without a bios. thanks guys

yes you will be able to backflash. you have to take off your hs and check for the writing R350 or R360. if you see R360 then contiune flashing. if you have the 350 your out of luck.

I have a 9800 non pro. I brought it off of ebay just like that.
No drivers nothing.
I am tryinng to flash my card to a 9800pro.
When i click the link on the front page for the bioses of
various cards it doesnt work.
I have samsung memory on the card, and im assuming this
card is made by ati because i can not tell.

On the ram it says "Samsung 349 - K4D551638D-TC33"

The stickers on the card say "Tomcat II - 200-m02"
"HP P/n -5069-7072"
"MS- 8933b040439143"
"4410147811"

Can someone guide me in getting the bios please. Thank you.

theres only one bios with that memory (samsung 3.3). this is the correct bios. you can use samsung 9800 pros with 2.8 if you want to and try to up your latency speeds. the smasung 3.3 have the best overclock ive seen yet,

I just downloaded it, the file say says 9600 pro. are u sure this
is the right bios?
