Smile Catalyst Driver 8.6 Video Issue.
Hey everyone, im new here and first of all i must say that my english sucks >_< so i'll try to explain me as well as i can =D

I have an issue with this driver, i've just installed that thing and, ok it goes fine with games but i cant see videos, it just appear black screen so, i tried an older driver version and did well, video again, i wonder why this could happen, bad driver?, I have an ATI Saphire HD3870 512 mb video card, Windows XP UE v6, thx =D!

Does the newer driver add massive stability or functionality?
If not, you should just stick with an older driver that works correctly until a new driver release that matters.

functionality

I have solved the troubles, is some kind of issue with Catalyst Control Center and new drivers, something like that, using Drive Cleaner and cleaning al registry of ATI drivers it solves the trouble =P
