Black square in top left.

Hi there. I've been going nuts trying to figure this out and the only information I've been able to get is about the white square in top left, I have that too but it's not a problem.

Ok so I recently ordered a new laptop and it runs great, TF2 max settings with medium power. However, when I try to play Diablo II (lol) a strange black box appears in the top left corner of the screen that seems to display every character on my keyboard. It starts with symbols then upper case letters, then lower case. After it has done all this the game launches, takes about 4 minutes. I have reinstalled the game and I get the same problem, works fine on my desktop.

Please, if you know how to fix this let me know. Thanks!
