ATI Mobility Radeon HD misbehaving with Flash video

Hi,
My HP Pavilion dv6t se with an ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5650 built in has been having problems lately. For the last month or so, whenever I visit a website with flash video embedded (including youtube, etc.) the screen will temporarily go blank, then pop back up with everything looking normal except the video itself, which turns all green or gets distorted. Windows gives me a popup in the tray saying "Display driver AMD driver has temporarily stopped working but has now recovered." However, the next time I go to play Flash video, the system goes to a blue screen with some text on it, which says something about system memory being dumped to disk. Then, after the number at the bottom hits 100, the system restarts, giving me the standard options of restarting Windows normally or in safe mode that you get from an unexpected shutdown.

This problem used to only occur when I was using my computer out of hibernation, and a restart would have it working perfectly. However, today it started happening every time I played back a Flash video. I have no problems with anything else, including demanding games. I have even tried three different web browsers to see if that is the problem (Firefox, Chrome, and IE).

My specs are:
HP Pavilion dv6 touch special edition
8 GB RAM
1.6 gHz Intel Core i7 processor
ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5650

Catalyst Control Center tells me the following:
Software:

Driver Packaging Version 8.753-100706m-102501C-ATI
Catalyst™ Version 10.7
Provider ATI Technologies Inc.
2D Driver Version 8.01.01.1047
2D Driver File Path /REGISTRY/MACHINE/SYSTEM/ControlSet001/Control/CLASS/{4D36E968-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}/0000
Direct3D Version 8.14.10.0768
OpenGL Version 6.14.10.10061
Catalyst™ Control Center Version 2010.0621.2137.36973

I got flash to work by right clicking on a video before it played and clicking settings, then disabling hardware acceleration. This seems to be a driver issue. Maybe reinstalling the drivers would help. For now, though, I'm fine just turning off hardware acceleration.
