Unhappy PLEASEEE HELP ME - moving i-tunes between hard drives

my computer runs off 2 harddrives, C and D.

the C drive (systems) had no free space as its only 30GB for downloading films etc.

so i've been moving all my pictures and music into my D (data) drive which is 120GB.

however.. i tried to move i-tunes. and it has moved half of the stuff into my D drive and will not let me move the rest so now half is in the C.

now i-tunes will not play propperly and only let me access half the music.

and i cant move the folders into the same place.

it says this is becuase the programme is running which it is not. i have checked and tried so many things but am having real problems.

it is extremely frustrating and i have a feeling it really needs someone with computer knowlege to sit down and look at it.

but any help or advice would be appreciated. even if someone has any vague ideas or things i cud try! thanks

I've been trying to move the whole program folder. but for some reason its split my i-tunes into two... possibly a result of me trying to copy paste it.

i hear uninstalling i tunes.. and then putting my ipod onto an empty computer will erase my actual i pod?!

i'm on my work computer just now but will get home in a couple hours and try have a mess around and see if i can shift it at all.

thanks for replying
