Ipod touch not resolving DNS

Hello guys.

I just bought my girlfriend a new Ipod touch 8 gig model.

This thing is cool as hell, but I cannot get it to access the internet wirelessly behind my Linksys WRT54g.

I have WPA2 encryption enabled and I am broadcasting my SSID.

The ipod connects to the router fine. The problem is that it will not get DNS. It even puts the router's DNS servers in the DNS box on the network configuration settings.

The ipod will connect to any site where I manually type in the ip address of the website, but not the words (Hence dns).

I've googled this to death, but everyone talks about encryption which I know is not the issue, since I can connect with the ip addresses.

Anyone else had this issue or know how to get around it?

My ipod touch is 8 gig.
My router is WRT54g. Version 1.1, firmware 4.21.1

Thanks in advance.
