IMac G5 power supply.

my 17 inch iMac G5 has recently stopped turning on. I've had it serviced once before (18 months ago) for the same problem and had the power supply replaced.

I have removed the back of my computer and if I plug it in and use the internal power button, the computer will sometimes turn on normally, sometimes do nothing at all, and sometimes the LED 2 light will flicker. (The LED 1 light is always on if its plugged in).

So my question (to anyone who might actually know) is: is this my power supply again? Following an online tutorial, my power supply needs replacing if the LED 2 flickers, but mine acts erratically.

A mac service center is a long way away from me and I would much prefer to order a new power supply and replace it myself if anyone could confirm that this is most likely the problem.

Thanks ahead of time for any help you can offer me.

Will
