I cant turn on my iBook G4...

I have left my iBook on in the morning trying to import songs to my iTunes 6.05 which i have just downloaded. But i left my iBook on charging with the CD inside when i left home. When i reached home about 12 hrs later, my monitor was blank and the internal fan was on, with a very loud noise. I realised my iBook could not be 'activated' on although the battery was on full charge.
can anione tell mi wat went rong?

So when you go to turn it back on, it doesn't? To me it sounds like something inside got fried. Fans usually run louder when you import files, as it takes processing power, which often times causes the CPU to overheat. So to me it sounds like you have a fried logic board. There are known logic board issues with the iBook G4 series. Do you have Applecare?

if your going to be getting one and get worried about overheating you could always pickup one of those handy dandy laptop coolers tha plug into the usb port and sit on the underside of the laptop.
I have one just for the summer for my dell because when im outside with it, it does overheat without the cooler but with the cooler it does not overheat.
