I still have one running Mac OS 9.2.2, though it serves no real purpose. I was thinking of loading a copy of 10.3 server (since its a non-firewire, Panther is the last supported OS) on it and just tinkering around with it. I would never defile such a device as to run ugly OSS garbage on it.

Yes, if you search around on eBay and pricegrabber you should be able to get it. It is a bit pricy now per MB (compared to DDR2 and DDR3), as most systems are unsupported and depreciated that use it, but still much easier to find than SDRAM/EDO-DRAM.
