AC3 for Mac
I downloaded the AC3 for quicktime codec, which is supposed to get dropped into the /library/quicktime folder...only problem is that now whenever I try to play the file, quicktime has an error and shuts down. when I take the codec out of the folder, it works fine.
so did I do it wrong?

yeah, it's for intel macs.
I redid it a couple of times and got it to work somewhat. Now quicktime plays sound, but it is really garbled and just not right...
