Yah, im upgrading a pre-built system, please dont..

Mods: GS Corsair 600Watts & GTX 460 1gb

I wanted to upgrade my CPU a bit, and here are my options.

Based on my mobo, I think these are my options:
Go to google
Type in micro-center
Processor/Cpu
Socket AM3
Phenom x4's

Those are my options.


ATM, im leaning toward the x4 840, since I feel the mobo might bottle-neck if I get any other processor.

p.s Is going from 630 to 840 a big leap?, if not, could I manage to upgrade to one of the 9xx series?
