Over Clocking Virgin

Hey,

Have had a home built system now for about a year, though it is still fairly decent. Now as I am thinking of upgrading I was wondering if it were possible to start over-clocking just to see what the real best is I can get out of the system.
currently:
Amd 64 x2 2.1Ghz, 2Gb (cheap) RAM, 2x 250Gb HD, ATI HD2600XT,
Mobo MSI K9AGM2-FIH Socket AM2 690G and SB600

So I am very nervous as to ask this question since its quite large! But... Where do I begin?

P.s Not completely computer illiterate, better with hardware: but just remind me whats a 'keyboard'?
Thanks!

Niall
