Need to check whether the processor works

A pin on my amd 64 3000 s754 broke off. it wasn't a ground pin.

I tried breaking some pins of another cpu and stuffing them down the hole, where the broken pin was supposed to go.

The thing is I really can't check if it works as the memory and the GFX card on my system might be fried. And I kind of need to know if my pin stuffing worked... Is there any way to find out? like pressing keys on a keyboard and waiting for a sound?

How do you know it isn't a ground pin? What is the function of the pin?

Not really any good way to test the processor without a known-good rig to plug it in, unfortunately.

Yes, it is very possible, in fact, highly probable, that you are wrong.

You would be a better person if you would just admit that.

And I would be less annoyed.

Never heard of anybody reattaching a socket pin successfully

Good luck with that!
