EDIT: OK! Small test: a little more voltage and now I'm cookin' at 2.598
1.5v looked a little high to me, I'm at 1.375 now (up from 1.35), not tested yet for stability. That's a good start. I'm going to try higher than 2.6, tho I don't have time to get the programs needed to test stability until I get off work tonight. I'd like to hit 2.7 stable, anything after is considered a bonus. sorry for double post, I don't see where to delete this one. ![]() |

good steps there, you have reached the barrier of 2.5, good job!! okay now try to set the voltage to 1.4 and increase the frequency by 1 or 2

But if you can't boot up at more than 210 at stock it sounds like you have a crappy motherboard.

I bumped the voltage 1 notch, or .25 and it boots past 210 now. Stable at 2.64GHz, and no my mobo is actually quite nice for it's time. I'll try higher in the morning, it is time for sleep now.
EDIT: ok, I got it up to 2.7. Last night I ran 2 insances of Prime95, one set to each core. They ran all night without error. ![]() |
