Help picking a new CPU
Hello
I need a new CPU - my existing CPU is not supported by my motherboard ( I have a Asrocket N68-S motherbaord and a AMD Athlon(tm) 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 6000+)
I am looking to get a AMD Phenom II X2 560 or the 565 CPU - both CPUs specs are almost the same the only difference between them are the 560 runs at 3300 MHz and the 565 runs at 3400 MHz - But the 565 is £35 more expensive
Is it worth paying more for the better spec of the Frequencys - I am not a gamer I only play snooker 09 from time to time
The list of supported CPUs for my motherboard can be found here AS rocked site (cant post the link here)

Go for AMD Phenom II X2 560,,,,it will not make much difference... The Phenom II X2, is the best processor in the market, with its dual-core and its 3.3GHz CPU speed. with its hyper-threading technology allows the dual-core processor run like a quad-core. and it is very affordable....well this is my advice, but decision is yours.

Help picking a new CPU
You are not a gaming freak so you do not have to change your cpu, stay at your old one.

Provide information about what you want to use it for, price range, etc.

UNTIL you know what that mobo is compatible with what processors, you don't buy one plain and simple. You need to find out what mobo you have and then look it up on the mobo mfgs website to find out what processors it will except.
