    Rosewill X800 XL - Testing

This is a gaming video card, so running this game in anything but games would be kind of pointless wouldn't it? We'll test this card at stock and then overclocked to see what this card is capable of. We know the video card will be the x800 XL, but here is the rest of the PC.

    • DFI NF4 Ultra- D
    • AMD A64 3000+ ( Venice)
    • 1 GB OCZ Gold 2-2-2
    • X800 XL
    • OCZ PowerStream 520 Watt

    3DMark03

First up is a gaming benchmark. Futremark made this test to see how different cards performed on all gaming functions. Some games favor certain cards, but this ideally shouldn't favor any.

    3DMark05

This is just like 3DMark03, but updated. It has better detail and stresses the video card more.

    Far Cry

Time for some real gaming. First up is Far Cry. This game has beautiful water and graphics, which needs a powerful video card to run.

    Doom 3

Doom 3 is one of my favorite games. It can be a very big hog on the video card when graphics are set to high or ultra.

    Counter Strike: Source

The newest version of Counter Strike built on the new Source engine.
