Radeon 9600XT by ASUS Review - Extra Goodies!

Now, this is an Asus product, and they seem to have a reputation for good products that bundle a lot of software. There's no shortage of it here. The remaining four CDs contain ASUSDVD XP (a rebranded Cybermedia PowerDVD), Ulead Cool 3D 3 and PhotoExpress SE 4 for image editing, Asus PowerDirector Pro 2.55 ME for video editing, and Asus MediaShow SE 2.0 for creating media rich slide shows.

The driver CD also comes with some goodies, but what we're most interested in is the ASUS SmartDoctor 3.10. It's a hardware monitoring utility that can also be used to help tune the performance of the card by monitoring voltage levels, fan speeds, and of course, speeds of both the RAM and the engine. Asus also provided a good ammount of documentation in 2 booklets for reference on using their software, such as GameFace 1.01 (for videoconferencing while gaming), and Digital VCR 2.5

    Accessories

Just when you may have thought that was it, there is a DVI-VGA connector so you can use the Radeon on two monitors, the S-Video converter, and a small CD carrying case for all the software.
