PowerColor X1300 512MB GameFX - What's inside the box?
What's inside the box? According to the box itself, it contains the following items:
- PowerColor X1300 Series GameFX Graphics Board
- DVI-I to VGA Connector
- S-Video to Composite Cables
- Set-up CD and Quick Install Manual
- Software Bundle

Opening the box, I found almost exactly what was advertised. I quickly located the manual and set-up CD. I found the S-Video conversion cable, and the DVI - VGA adapter as well. And of course, the X1300 itself was present. The software bundle, indicated on the side of the box, was nowhere to be found. Not that this is any kind of big loss; I usually use them as Frisbees around the office.

The card itself isn't as big as one might expect. Neither is the cooler, for that matter. But based on the entry-level simplicity of this card, along with the low speed frequencies of the GPU, this card doesn't need to be big nor have a huge cooling fan. Though, to be honest, with a better cooling system this card might be susceptible to a decent amount of overclocking.
Here are some pics of the card itself. Note the dual DVI-I outputs. Most newer displays nowadays ship with a DVI-I option, so the use of the old HD15 format is quickly going the way of the Dodo.
