MSI FX5700 Ultra TD128 - Bundled Software
(Page 4 of 11 )

The software bundle features 10 CDs holding 10 games and 21 utilities.

Upon inserting the MSI Multimedia "Beyond 3D" install CD, the user is prompted with this menu:

You can install VGA drivers, 3D stereo drivers, and WinDVB stuff. The CD contains driver versions 21.83, 45.32, 45.33, and 52.14 (WHQL). This next picture is the utilities tab.

Clicking on MSI Utility reveals six different MSI programs.

Turbo Experience: An overclocking and hardware monitor utility.
Live Update: Detects and auto-updates card BIOS and drivers.
SecureDoc: For file encryption.
GoodMEM: A memory utility.
LockBox: A security program for Windows.
WMI Info: A system information browser with Windows Management Instrumentation.
The 3D!Turbo Experience program resides in the task tray. It opens inside an Internet Explorer window and uses Flash as its interface.

Unfortunately, when I tried to use the program, it didn't seem very responsive and even gave me errors when I clicked certain options.

Other software includes MSI Media Center Delux II (which requires MSI TV@anywhere-Master), FarStone VirtualDrive and FarStone RestoreIT, Adobe Photoshop AlbumSE, 3D Album, WinDVD 5.1, and Supreme Foreign Language Learning Machine. The bundled games were Ghost Recon, Duke Nukem: Manhattan Project, Morrowind, and a 7-in-1 games collection featuring The Sum of All Fears, IL-2 Sturmovik, Serious Sam 2, Rally Trophy, Beam Breakers, Zax: The Alien Hunter, and Oni. Personally, I think much of this software is outdated or useless, and simply boosts the price of production. MSI may want to rethink their software bundle in the future.
