The Gigabyte X800 Pro comes in an extremely long box. The front features nice box art as always and the back details all the features of the X800 Pro.
Included accessories are s-video cable, composite cable, s-video to composite converter, vga-dvi converter, component video cable, and power dongle splitter.
The Gigabyte X800 Pro also comes with the user's manual and seven CDs containing drivers, an overclocking utility, 3D-Album, and three full version games: Counter-Strike Condition Zero, Rainbow Six 3 Raven Shield, and SpellForce: The Order of Dawn.
The video card resembles an ATI X800 Pro with its red PCB. The heatsink sticker complements the variable speed blue LED fan very well.
The heatsink (minus the plastic shroud) is constructed entirely of copper. This single slot solution also covers the memory on the front side of the card. The DDRIII memory on the back however, is left bare. The fan is variable speed. When not in 3D apps, the X800 is inaudible. Once the video card is put to work in a game, the fan speeds up and is audible, though not loud by any standards.
The connectors at the back of the card are as usual, one analog port, one DVI port, and one s-video port. The power connector is located in its usual corner on the PCB.
Finally, the Gigabyte X800 Pro uses Samsung K4J55323QF-GC20 BGA memory. This is 2.0ns memory which is effectively 1000MHz. Since the X800 Pro's memory is clocked at 900MHz, we should be able to do some solid memory overclocking.
