    Benchmarks Continued

    3DMark01 SE Build 330

We started out with 3DMark01 SE Build 330 with no AA/AF enabled and all other graphical settings either disabled or at their minimums. The R9800 Pro ends up on top, which isn't too surprising. If you do a search on FurtureMark's ORB you'll see the R9800 dominates the top scores. Although in defense of the FX 5900, FutureMark is not yet accepting published scores of the 5900 Ultra. It recognizes it as a generic card only. We are working closely with FutureMark Corp to determine when GF FX 5900 Scores can be submitted and published for comparison. We'll keep you posted.

Here we see that the R9800 Pro dominates the FX 5900 at 2x/8x AA/AF but not at 4x/8x.

    3DMark03 Build 330

The controversy continues with 3DMark03 and simulated benchmarking applications, but we figured what the heck. Let's throw 'em in and see what happens. The FX 5900 Ultra clearly dominates this benchmark across the board. Quite interesting considering the R9800 Pro more than hangs in the majority of "real-world" benchmarks throughout the article. I'll leave you with one word. Interesting.....
