3DMark01 SE Build 330


While running the default benchmark and no AA/AF enabled, the 4200 simply puts the smack down on the FX 5600. Let's check out 3DMark01 SE at a higher resolution of 1280 x 1024.

Again the Ti 4200 continues to impress when running 3DMark01 SE. Let's not forget the 3DMark01 engine is extremely old at this point, and the Ti 4200's were built with this benchmark in mind, while the FX 5600 was build with next generation gaming in mind. Let's see how they compare in FutureMark's latest 3DMark03.

Clearly the GF FX 5600 enjoys the DX9 native benchmark 3DMark03 much more than it's older brother the Ti 4200. Were we surprised? Not really as like I stated previously, the GF FX 5600 was built with the intentions of running next generation software.
