Albatron FX5600EQ - Setup and Benchmarking

    Video Properties

Nothing much has changed here if you're familiar with nVidia cards and Detonator Drivers. 44.03's were used for the review as seen below and here are a few shots of the properties to take a gander at.

    System Setup

    1. Intel Pentium 4 3.0GHz CPU

    2. FIC 865PE Dynasty Motherboard

    3. OCZ 512MB PC3700 EL DDR GOLD Memory

    4. WD SE 80GB HD

    5. Albatron FX5600 video card

    6. ABIT GeForce Ti 4200 video card

    7. Windows XP Professional with service packs

    8. DirectX 9.0b

NVIDIA Detonator FX 44.03's used for both video cards

    Benchmark Programs

    1. Unreal Tournament 2003 (featuring [H]ardOCP UT2k3 Benchmark)

    2. Code Creatures

    3. 3DMark 01 SE Build 330

    4. 3DMark 03 Build 320

    5. Dronez

    Benchmarking

    Unreal Tournament

    DM Asbestos

Initially with no AA or AF enabled we see the 4200 pull out to a very strong lead in all resolutions. Quite impressive really. Then we quickly see the improved engine of the FX 5600 take over once we initiate 2x AA and 4x AF. nVidia's advance in AA and AF technology is readily apparent and moving to 4x/4x AA/AF shows the 5600 over twice as fast in some cases.
