    ABIT OTES Ti 4200 8X

ABIT, a company well known for the overclockability of their motherboard products via SoftMenu™ Technology have brought us jumperless mobo's since the days of the Celeron 300A and have long been the leaders of innovation and quality. Today we take a look at a Geforce4 Ti4200 with 2 unique features: the Outside Thermal exhaust System and 8X AGP. Oddly enough, the ABIT OTES appears to be the forerunner in cooling design for the new nVidia GeForce FX Video Card. Incorporating some intriguing technology for cooling down those hot GPU's.

    First Impressions

Being the premium Ti4200 that this is, it naturally came well packaged and with a nice little suite of software.  Although its not the prettiest box artwork ever, and infact it looks pretty weird...  who really cares?  All that counts is what is inside the box.  At least what was in the box was pretty.  Sporting a Blue PCB and one huge honking fan, this boy looks buttoned up and ready to rumble.  As you can see, while this isn't by any means a full size AGP card like the Ti4400, it is still rather large.

Included in the package is the manual, a nice selection oh software featuring a CD copy of America's Army, so you don't have to put up with slow servers to download from, and WinDVD.  Additionally, you get a nice assortment of cables for plugging stuff into and out of your vidcard.
