The Mitsumi FA404A comes with a black finish which immediately should make it popular among users with black cases.

You might wonder why there are only two slots for memory cards, but if you look carefully at the labels, you'll see that certain types of memory share slots (to save space I presume). The floppy drive portion of the reader hooks up to your system like any normal floppy drive, seen here:

That cable protruding on the left is for the USB memory card portion of the reader; it connects to a single onboard USB header.

The cable's length is sufficient for the reader to be installed in pretty much any tower.

Finally, the Mitsumi FA404A is detected and automatically installed in 2K and XP. There's also an included mini CD which holds a Windows 98 driver.
