Using the drive was pretty simple. I plugged it into my Windows XP Pro machine and was greeted by a friendly pop-up:

Windows automatically loaded the right drivers for it and assigned a drive letter all on its own. Then it was just a matter of opening Windows Explorer to see the device for myself:

In the above image, you can see that the new device has been configured as drive E: in my system. Still being a stickler for details, I checked the properties of the newly installed device:

And there we have it. In less than 10 seconds, I added nearly 20 GB of storage to my machine that I can take with me wherever I go.
