LiteOn Dual-Layer DVD RW SOHW-1693S Review - LiteOn SOHW-1693S DVD RW/DL
(Page 2 of 6 )

LiteOn was founded in 1975, when they first started producing LED display clocks. Ever since, they have been innovative and have expanded their product lines producing many of the components in a computer system. They started research and development of new products many years ago and now are producing some of the next generation of computer hardware.

LiteOn packages their drives in bight colored boxes, clearly marked with their company name on them. There is no doubt that your receiving a LiteOn product.

The drive is sealed in a bag; the cables and manuals are in a bag and are prevented from moving around by some soft cardboard to prevent any damage.
Once I received my drive, I took it out of its packaging. LiteOn had the drive wrapped in plastic to keep any contaminants from getting inside the drive. I pulled it out, and then I had noticed how small the drive actually was. The drive is smaller than most of the drives I’ve handled before. Other than that, I opened up the package to find the other contents provided with my drive.

Contents include the drive, an additional faceplate, mounting hardware, user manual, audio cable, quick installation guide, warrantee card, Nero 6 OEM Suite, and Power DVD 5.
