Bluegears b-Enspirer - Open it up

The b-Enspirer comes in an attractive shrink-wrapped box that lists a number of the features of the card itself.  To be honest, if it listed all of the features of this card, they would probably need a bigger box.

Ripping off the plastic and opening the outer box, I was greeted by the inner box, which actually held the prize:

As you can see in the above picture, the contents of the box are cradled nicely in the center of the box.  After shaking this box upside down like a bully looking for milk money, here's what I found:

Here are the contents as I found them:

    • Bluegears b-Enspirer PCI sound card
    • Owners Manual
    • Drivers CD
    • TOSLINK Fiber Optic Digital Cable
    • Warranty Card

Installing the card into my PC was quick and simple, so I'll not bother with the details. Suffice it to say that all you need to do is find an open PCI slot, insert card, and you're done.

At the same time, installing the drivers was as easy as putting the CD ROM into the tray, and letting the auto-play run and walk you through the install.  Again, it was a no-brainer.

Before testing the capability of this card, we still need to hook up our speakers and configure the software.
