The Ultra X-Connect power supply comes in a neatly and tightly packed box taking full advantage of the space available with care to keep the PSU in perfect condition. The box art boldly states some of the X-Connect's features such as 500w, dual 80mm fans, and X-Connect modular cables.

Inside the box we find the X-Connect power supply, user's manual, and a box of cables (black power cable, eight modular cables,) and four screws. The ninth X-Connect cable, a SATA Y splitter, has to be requested from UltraProducts.com after purchasing the power supply. It is free of charge.

The Ultra X-Connect power supply is very attractive. The high-gloss mirror finish is no joke and makes the Silver X-Connect look like chrome. The back has a simple chrome grill, power switch, and power outlet. One side is covered with a specifications sticker and the other side and top are totally clean. The front of the PSU hosts the eight X-Connect ports, while the base contains the other 80mm fan with a special Ultra fan grill.
