Seasonic Super Tornado 400W Review - Dr. Cable

Speaking of cooling, remember that cable wrap I spoke about before? Seasonic calls it "Dr. Cable." Let's see if it really helps.

    PSU - Cable Wrap

    PSU - Before Dr. Cable
    Before Dr. Cable

    PSU - After Dr. Cable
    After Dr. Cable

If your building a system, take the extra time and effort in doing this.  Unfortunately, Seasonic doesn't provide enough of this wrap to do all the cables, but the good news is that you can find it at almost any electronics shop, automotive shop or hardware store near you. Most places carry it in multiple colors, just in case your picky about matching your case color theme. In fact, I ran down to the local hardware store and for $2 got 10-feet of 1/4-inch black wire loom wrap -- plenty to finish making this power supply look air flow friendly.

PSU - No, those AREN'T dreadlocks!
