Seasonic S12 Power Supply - Installation

    Installation

Installing the power supply is very simple. You must remove any existing power supply unit and simply replace it with the S12. Connect all necessary power connectors.

The S12 comes with very long wires for installation in full sized cases, and has enough power connectors for a large number of hard drives. The S12 offers 4 SATA power connectors, 6 Molex connectors, and 2 floppy connectors.

The S12 also provides a fan monitoring header to display fan speeds on motherboards or fan controllers, and connectors for multiple motherboard setups. The S12 is also SLI compatible. It offers 2 6 pin PCI express power connectors for powering multiple PCI Express graphics cards and supports 150W.

If you are using this PSU on a non PCI Express motherboard you will need to use the 20pin ATX adapter, which is simply missing 4 wires which are unnecessary for AGP motherboards. The S12 also provides an 8pin connector for dual processor motherboards.

Once you have connected everything you can go ahead and boot the system.
