Raidmax Volcano 630 Watt Power Supply - Unpacking and Contents

    Unpacking and Contents

After opening up the box, here’s the Volcano sitting inside its cardboard packaging.

After we remove the Volcano and all the packaging, the modular cables sit in the bottom of the box. There is definitely plenty of them.

Below you can see them taken out of the box. There is a 24-pin power cable (notice the tiny plug hanging off of it, which you’ll see again later), the 4-pin 16V CPU power cable, 6-pin and 8-pin connectors needed for some setups, 2 SATA power connectors, and 4 regular 4-pin molex cables. The Volcano comes ready for an SLI setup or whatever you have in mind.

Also, I can’t forget to get a shot of the other contents in the box. We have the power cable, a good user manual, and of course the power supply itself.

We haven’t taken a very good look at the power supply yet, but we’re about to. As we install the Volcano, get ready to see a little more of it.
