QTechnology 460w Gold Series PSU - Box and Appearance

The QT-03460G's retail packaging is very simple. It focuses on its 120mm fan and "ultra quiet power supply" moniker.

The side of the box details the power supply's input and output specifications and its 120mm Papst fan.

The QT Gold Series PSU has a very clean, black exterior.

Two sides are just smooth aluminum. One side has a simple power chart:

The entire back is a honeycomb grill to aid in cooling and noise reduction, and has the power plug and switch.

The 120mm Papst fan is located at the bottom of the power supply. It is covered by a simple black grill.

The QT Gold Series PSU has 7 four-pin device connectors, 3 floppy connectors, 4 SATA connectors, 1 ATX12v connectors, 1 motherboard connector, and one fan speed monitoring connector. The 7 four-pin device connectors are divided over three lines, 3-2-2, and each line has one floppy connector.

Overall, I enjoy the QT Gold Series PSU's simple black appearance. Personally, I don't like wrapped power cables because they become stiff and difficult to bend, so QTechnology's decision to only wrap the motherboard power cables is fine by me. Missing from the Gold Series PSU is the six-pin Xeon connector. It's rarely used, and therefore a good omission.
