QTechnology 460w Gold Series PSU - Specifications
(Page 2 of 5 )
The QT Gold Series power supply is equipped with a redesigned circuit, which automatically adjusts the fan speed according to temperature and loading. As a result, the power supply achieves sufficient cooling with a low speed fan. Other features include:
- Ultra Quiet
- ATX12V for INTEL P4 and AMD Athlon
- Active PFC
- Temperature controlled
- Higher efficiency
- Remote ON/OFF control
- Power Good signal
- Short circuit, over current and voltage protection
Active PFC is always appreciated. Although a PFC is not required in the USA, it is in many other countries, and is better to have it than not have it. The Gold Series PSU uses one 120mm fan to exhaust air from inside the computer case, and it is temperature and load controlled.
Input
- Input voltage 100V – 240V
- Frequency 47Hz – 63Hz
- Input current 8A - 4A
- Power factor correction > 0,96
Output
- Over voltage protection 150%
- Short circuit on all outputs
- Efficiency > 70%
- Power good signal 100 ~ 500ms
| Output | +3,3V | +5V | +12V1 | +12V2 | -12V | +5Vsb |
| min. | 0,5A | 0,3A | 1,0A | 1,0A | 0,0A | 0,0A |
| max. | 30,0A | 30,0A | 14,0A | 15,0A | 0,5A | 2,0A |
In this power output chart, you can see that the QT Gold Series PSU uses two independent 12v rails which provide separate current to the motherboard and other devices. The result is stable and clean current to noise-sensitive devices, such as the CPU and add-on cards. Output efficiency refers to how much power going into the power supply is outputted (the rest is lost as heat). Greater than 70% efficiency is very good.
Spec wise, the QT-03460G is a very strong power supply and enough to power a high-end computer.
