Epower Tiger 1200 Watt - Conclusion

Today we got to look at the ePower Tiger 1200 watt PSU. Making a PSU is hard work; making a reliable PSU is harder, and making a high power reliable PSU is rare. However, ePower seems to have created the diamond in the rough with this PSU. It seemed like it was able to handle everything I could throw at it with ease.
I feel a little intimidated by this PSU. It's asking me to push it more and I sadly can't; perhaps in a few years I can make it cry. This is the first modular PSU I have liked, and found it worth while to have it modular.
The only downside to this PSU comes in the price tag, which is $388.00 from newegg.com. While this is a lot, it's well worth it for the power and performance you get along with the ease of mind knowing that it will be okay whenever you hit the power button.
This PSU is only for a small market segment: those who are sporting dual top of the line video cards and a power hungry CPU. If you happen to be in this group, I see no other PSUs I'd rather have in my case than this one. The ePower Tiger 1200 watt is truly an awesome PSU that will run your current computer, and also run the next generation computer. It has earned the Dev Hardware Gold Award.
