Vidabox HTPC Wireless Keyboard - A closer look
(Page 3 of 5 )
When I pulled everything out of the box, I even found a dustcover at the bottom. I think this is a nice touch, because a lot of people may not even use the keyboard for some time, and as I can tell you, my home theater components seem to attract dust from all corners of the globe.

So here are the contents of the box all set out. The most important thing, of course, is the keyboard, so let's start with a close look at that.

The keys are laid out in standard QWERTY fashion. One thing I like about this keyboard is, even though it is designed as a small footprint, the keys on the keyboard are still close to normal size. A lot of small footprint keyboards save space by making the keys smaller. For someone like me who either (a) has memorized key locations by touch, or (b) just has big hands, this is a definite plus.
In addition to the standard keyboard keys, there is a row of special buttons along the top of the keyboard, on either site of the RF transmitter.

These special buttons are used for miscellaneous functions, such as connecting to the wireless transmitter, opening email, and controlling volume and media playback.

On the bottom of the keyboard is a small door covering the battery compartment. Vidabox even included three Energizer(TM) batteries to power our test unit.
